why modular?
Excel homes are built in a state-of-the-art factory safe from the negative effects of weather. Our experienced craftsmen only use pre-measured jigs to avoid crooked angles or faulty measurements. We only use quality, national brands and because we build in several states, our materials always meet or exceed rigorous national standards. In fact, we actually use 20-30% more materials than site-built construction. Each home is “over-built,” giving you a stronger home.
A GREEN HOME uses energy efficient ENERGY STAR® equipment, fixtures and appliances as well as building materials made from recycled and/or renewable resources. Green homes are designed to harness renewable resources, reduce environmental impact and maximize energy efficiency, working toward NAHB and LEED certification standards.
